Anderson Leaves Shares to Environmental Trust
Atlanta, GA, Sept. 1, 2011 -- Late Interface founder Ray Anderson owned approximately 3.5 million shares of Interface class B shares and controlled approximately 3.8 million in total at the time of his death.
Anderson, well known for his environmental pursuits in the flooring industry, left 62% of his total assets to the Ray Anderson Foundation--a trust fund devoted to environmental causes--and the remaining shares to his surviving wife and two children, according to industry analyst Stifel-Nicolaus.
