Anderson Floor Showcased on “Comfort Zones”

Clinton, S.C., October 28, 2005--An Anderson Virginia Vintage floor installed in an upscale beach home in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida recently was featured in a segment of “Comfort Zones” on the Fine Living Network. Interior designer Rudy York, of Rudy York Designs in Jacksonville, recommended the Anderson Virginia Vintage flooring in Autumn Hickory for the 2,000-square-foot second floor living area in what became known to viewers nationwide as the “Dune House.” “The clients wanted a tropical/south sea island feel for their home. After further meetings we realized with all the children involved and being on the ocean, a rough hand-hewn style floor would be very forgiving. The wonderful color of the wood acts as a frame to silhouette each individual piece of furniture and hand made carpets,” York said. PineRidge Film & Television in Jacksonville photographed the Dune House segment for “Comfort Zones,” which aired recently on the Fine Living Network. “Comfort Zones” features vacation homes from around the country and highlights the unique amenities and materials that make them so comfortable and attractive. Anderson manufactures engineered and solid hardwood flooring under the Anderson, Appalachian, Virginia Vintage and Anderson Pacific brands. For more information, visit andersonfloors.com.
