Analysts Raising Third Quarter GDP Estimates
New York, NY, Aug. 5, 2009--A better than expected GDP reading in the second quarter is prompting some economists and analysts to revise their estimates for third quarter GDP higher.
For example, Morgan Stanley, which initially predicted 1 percent growth in the third quarter has revised its estimate to 3 to 4 percent. Likewise, T. Rowe Price has revised its opinion from 1.3 percent to 2.75 percent.
