Amorim Revestimentos Adds Board Member

São Paio de Oleiros, Portugal, April 13, 2011 -- The shareholders of Amorim Revestimentos S.A./Portugal, the world's largest manufacturer of cork flooring and one of the leading European importers of timber flooring, decided to enlarge the company's Board of Directors and appointed Jürgen Früchtenicht from Bremen/Germany as a new member.

Früchtenicht has 32 years of experience in the cork and wood-flooring industry.

During the last 4-5 year he has been an independent management consultant and serves today as the president of the European Federation of Parquet Importers in Brussels.

He has also been an editor of the German trade magazin "Parkett Magazin."
