AmericasMart Names ROY Award Nominees

Atlanta, GA, June 13, 2006—At the July Atlanta International Area Rug Market, AmericasMart’s presents its Rug Retailer of the Year Awards (ROY Awards), and the nominees are in. All ROY nominees are nominated exclusively by AmericasMart area rug exhibitors and then voted on by an independent panel of industry experts. The 13th annual ROY Awards will be held on Monday, July 17 beginning at 6 p.m. in the Oceans Ballroom of the Georgia Aquarium, the world’s largest aquarium. The Ballroom--situated among the most spectacular and endangered sea creatures, including Beluga Whales and Whale Sharks--the largest fish in the world--will host live entertainment, a complimentary cocktail buffet and a Monte Carlo-themed casino evening. A capacity crowd is expected to attend.
