AmericasMart Names Malkiewicz Director Home Accent
Atlanta, GA, April 12—AmericasMart has named Kevin Malkiewicz as Executive Director, Home Accents & Fine Linens Center.
As Executive Director, Malkiewicz is responsible for all sales and leasing initiatives specific to the Center, which today features more than 90 showrooms and 140,000 square feet of fashion-forward product, including the finest in luxurious bed and tabletop linens, pillows, kitchen textiles, decorative accessories, personal care products, area rugs, apparel and general gift product.
Malkiewicz continues his long-standing area rug industry leadership role as executive director of area rug tradeshows and area rug buyer relations.
Malkiewicz began his career with AmericasMart six years ago as Buyer Relations Manager. He was later promoted to Senior Buyer Relations Manager and then Director of Area Rug Tradeshows. He remains responsible for establishing relationships and securing retailer attendance for area rug markets; leasing Area Rug Market Temporary facilities; and supporting Area Rug Center leasing.
A graduate of Michigan State University, Malkiewicz began his career with Coca-Cola Enterprises as an account manager. He recently received his MBA from Kennesaw State University.
