Atlanta, GA, July 24--The Americasmart Atlanta management team’s sweeping customer service enhancement programs gain additional momentum and synergy with newly named officers and a new alignment of sales and leasing responsibilities, according to Jeffrey L. Portman, president of Americasmart parent AMC, Inc.
The new alignment creates core customer service teams for each of Americasmart Atlanta’s three buildings, with a senior officer leading sales and leasing specialists serving showroom owners and managers in the Market’s ten specialty product centers.
Leading the Americasmart Œ home accents, holiday/floral and gardens sales and leasing programs is David Savula, who has been named senior vice president. Savula previously served as vice president of leasing for the Home Accents & Fine Linens Center.
Continuing his long-standing area rug industry leadership role is Chas Sydney, who has been appointed senior vice president for Area Rug Center sales and leasing services in Americasmart, and for external new business development operations. Sydney previously served as vice president of area rug sales and leasing.
In Americasmart, senior vice president Terence Morris takes the helm as sales and leasing team leader in charge of the building’s three specialty product centers.
Lawton Hall, senior vice president and AMC veteran, assumes responsibility for Americasmart apparel, fashion accessories and fine jewelry and gift/resort/gourmet sales and leasing, and Americasmart Convention Center sales. Concurrently, Peg Canter has been named senior vice president of Americasmart apparel retail services following her service as vice president of Americasmart's apparel sales and leasing.
Complementing the sales, leasing and customer service appointments are promotions in Americasmart business service units, with Bob Brush newly elected to the position of vice president in charge of tax, risk management and human capital; Michelle Barton, appointed vice president and controller, and Dharmattie Brush, named vice president of technology services and registration.
Bob Brush previously served as assistant vice president of accounting and finance; Barton as controller, and Dharmattie Brush as director, technology services.
