American Truetzschler Gets New Leadership

Mönchengladbach, Germany, Nov. 11, 2010 -- After 21 years as CEO of American Truetzschler, Kurt Scholler will retire at the end of this year.

Scholler developed American Truetzschler from a primarily manufacturing company to a service oriented enterprise for the spinning industry.  American Truetzschler today is an established company in the field of nonwoven machinery and wire products.

Scholler will continue as a member of the Board of Directors.

American Truetzschler will be managed by Stefan Engel, vice president of finance and administration, and Detlef Jaekel, vice president of sales.

Engel was previously at Sia Abrasives, a subsidiary of the Robert Bosch Company, as director of finance and operations.

Jaekel started his career in 1965 at Trützschler in Moenchengladbach, Germany and transferred in 1975 to Charlotte.
