ABC Carpet Gallery Offers In-Store Digital Design

New York, NY, May 28, 2008--The ABC Carpet Modern Rug Gallery has launched a custom design digital interface that offers shoppers a wealth of floor covering designs that can be tailored to their individual decorating needs.

The new interactive design station is equipped with a plasma display screen and enables a shopper to manipulate any of the firm's thousands of rug styles to his/her own preferences in color, texture, pile, size and material variations.

Palette options comprise 600 silk and 600 wool tones, all incorporated into the system to modify the color of the background and motif of the rug. The texture can be altered to a traditional pile or loop pile, and an option enables the user to view the surface up close. To achieve a realistic perspective of the rug in a living space, the program allows it to be placed in seven different room settings.
