Aaron Rents Elects David L. Kolb Director

Atlanta, GA, Jun. 5--Aaron Rents, Inc. today announce that David L. Kolb has been elected to fill a vacancy on its Board of Directors. Kolb is Chairman of the Board of Mohawk Industries, Inc. Kolb joined Mohawk in 1980 and was Chief Executive Officer from 1988 to January 1, 2001. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of Chromcraft Revington Corporation, and Paxar Corporation. He is past Chairman and a member of the Board of Directors and Executive Committee of the Carpet and Rug Institute. He is also on the Board of Trustees and Executive Committee of Oglethorpe University and a Trustee of the Schenck School. In 1999, he was appointed to the Georgia Industry, Trade and Tourism Board. Aaron Rents, Inc., based in Atlanta, has more than 735 Company-operated and franchised stores across the United States and Puerto Rico for the rental and sale of residential and office furniture, accessories, consumer electronics and household appliances. The Company also manufactures furniture, bedding and accessories at 10 facilities in four states.
