Manufactured Goods Orders Rose 1.6% in March
Washington, DC, May 3, 2018—New orders for manufactured goods in March, up seven of the last eight months, increased $7.8 billion or 1.6% to $507.7 billion, the U.S. Census Bureau reported.

March Construction Employment Grew in 245 of 358 Areas YOY
Arlington, VA, May 3, 2018—Construction employment increased in 245 out of 358 metro areas between March 2017 and March 2018, declined in 67 and stagnated in 46, according to a new analysis of federal employment data released by the Associated General Contractors of America.
