2026 CARE Conference Begins Today in Chattanooga

Chattanooga, TN, May 5, 2026-The CARE conference begins today, running through tomorrow, in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

The event is held at The Westin with the theme “Elevating the Future: From Valley to Summit.”

It was revealed at a pre-conference meeting that sales of carpet in California have fallen from 100 million square yards/annually in 2013, the year that the extended producer responsibility (EPR) legislation was passed that launched CARE, to 49 million square yards/annually in 2025.  Between 2024 and 2025, sales by units fell 7.5%.
