Orlando, FL, January 18—-The Orlando Sentinel reported that attendance at the International Builders' Show at the Orange County Convention Center was record setting.
The newspaper reported that the National Association of Home Builders, which produces the annual event, released the final tally on Monday, saying that registration for the 2005 show was 104,922 registrations, 224 more than the 104,698 that registered for 2004. The 2004 show took place in Las Vegas.
There was also another record set at this year’s show. It drew more than 1,600 exhibitors.
The show will return to Orlando in 2006 and is scheduled for Atlanta in 2007 and 2008 before it returns to Las Vegas in 2009 and 2010.
