10% Duty Applied to Imports Under Section 122 of Trade Act of 1974
Washington, DC, February 25, 2026-Effective February 24, following the Supreme Court’s ruling against tariffs instituted under the International Emergency Economic Powers Act (IEEPA), a 10% duty on imports was instituted under Section 122 of the Trade Act of 1974, according to the U.S. Customs and Border Protection.
This tariff applies to all countries importing goods to the U.S.
