Masland Expands Border Options

High Point, NC, March 30, 2007--Responding to the popularity of its wool runners Brighton and Harlequin, Masland has introduced broadloom versions of the two styles, accompanied by a trio of coordinating borders.    Offered in the same six colorways, the borders are designed specifically to pair with the Harlequin and Brighton broadlooms. Using the products together, designers and homeowners can create custom looks - defining a room’s perimeter or enhancing a significant architectural element, such as a fireplace or entryway. Eight inches wide, the borders can be trimmed to various widths without affecting the integrity of the patterns. They are delivered with unfinished edges to maximize design options, and matching yarns are available in the full color line if a serged edge is desired.    The patterns include Miramar, a classical scrolled acanthus leaf, Trawick, a Celtic Knot, and Capstone, an architectural motif. Like the Harlequin and Brighton broadloom patterns, each border design is intended to complement a wide range of interior styles.   Harlequin and Brighton runners, broadloom, and borders are made of 100% wool. Suggested retail for the borders is $16 per linear foot; $130 per square yard for the broadloom.
