Universal Granite & Marble Opens Illinois Facility

Oswego, IL, August 2, 2007--Universal Granite & Marble, an importer and wholesaler of natural stone, has opened a facility in Oswego, Illinois, which houses more than 350 natural stone slabs in over 50 colors.

“To better serve our customers in Chicago’s western suburbs, we felt it was absolutely necessary to build here in Oswego, Illinois,” said Rakesh Malhotra, UGM’s chief operating officer.

UGM imports natural stones from India, Brazil, Italy, Spain, Mexico, Columbia, Egypt, Israel, Portugal, China, France, Norway, Canada, Turkey and Peru. UGM ensures its customers have access to a year-round supply of granite, limestone, travertine, marble and other natural stones.
