Tarkett Sports Buys Atlas Track & Tennis

Peachtree City, GA, Aug. 3, 2009--Tarkett Sports has acquied Atlas Track & Tennis, in what Tarkett describes as one of the most significant announcements to come out of the sports surfacing industry in recent years.

With annual revenue of $61 million, Atlas Track & Tennis is a contractor for the construction of synthetic running tracks and tennis courts.

Coupled with the previous purchase of Beynon Sports Surfaces and Defargo, Tarkett Sports is one of the largest running track installers in North America.

FieldTurf Tarkett and Atlas Track & Tennis have a long standing history and have collaborated on a multitude of projects.
