Rocky Bleier To Speak At NAFCD’s Annual Meeting

Chicago, IL, Mar. 12--The National Association of Floor Covering Distributors (NAFCD) will feature former pro football player Rocky Bleier as a keynote presenter at the NAFCD’s 32nd Annual Meeting, "Leaders Meeting Leaders," October 17-20 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. More than a former athlete, Bleier is a man of deep courage and conviction. Told he would never walk again after being wounded in Vietnam, Bleier went on not only to walk, but also to become a premier running back and member of the four time Super Bowl Champion Pittsburgh Steelers. Bleier uses the lessons he learned on the playing field, in combat and on the long road to recovery to inspire audiences to overcome the challenges they face every day and to strive for even greater accomplishments. Bleier is active in such organizations as the National Multiple Sclerosis Society and the International Special Olympics. His remarkable story is the subject of the book and feature film, “Fighting Back.” "Leaders Meeting Leaders" is designed to hone the personal and professional skills of floorcovering distributors. In addition to the Rocky Bleier keynote, the meeting features a panel discussion, "State of the Industry: Viewpoints from Floor Covering Leaders." The panel brings together Thomas S.
