Radici Aids in Artificial Grass Training
Bergamo, Italy, May 24, 2006--Tessiture Pietro Radici is contributing its expertise to the training course “Design and maintenance of artificial grass turf”, organized by CONI Servizi and taking place on 26 and 27 May at the Rome Olympic Training Centre. The program deals with several important topics related to the design and installation of artificial grass sports surfaces: from the evolution of the various kinds of synthetic grass to field drainage systems. Other matters to be discussed are: performance characteristics, environmental compatibility, the recyclability of materials, the new LND (Italian National Amateur League) regulations and materials and systems acceptance and approval, as well as the technical properties of artificial grass yarn. The last topic will be addressed on Friday, 26 May by Enrico Buriani, managing director of Tessiture Pietro Radici, who is speaking on RadiciGroup’s experience in the production of synthetic grass yarn, sold under the Radigreen brand name. The course was organized through the collaboration of university faculty, Coni Servizi professionals and experts from the national sports associations.
