Pennsylvania Furniture, Flooring Store Burns

Clymer Borough, PA, July 5-- A fire that raged for several hours Saturday night and Sunday destroyed Clymer Furniture, according to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. The fire was reported about 11 p.m. Saturday along the north side of the building. State police reported the building a total loss in excess of $250,000 from the three-hour fire. Clymer Furniture, located on Sixth Street, sold ceramic tile, flooring and furniture for residential and commercial customers. The fire marshal's unit from the state police barracks in Indiana, Pa., was investigating.
