Species: • Red Oak • White Oak • Maple • Imported species available soon Profiles: • Closed--Single faced bullnose with no mitered ends
• Single side open--Bullnosed face with one mitered and bullnosed end allows tread to simulate the appearance of penetration into the staircase
• Double side open--Similar to single side open but both ends mitered for a step exposed on both sides
Stain: • Available in all of Moulding Solutions' current stain colors. These colors match over 300 prefinished wood floorcovering products and most popular site-finished colors.
Finish: • Each tread is machine finished in our facility with 5 coats of finish. The finish has added UV inhibitors to reduce the effects of ambering.
• Moulding Solutions uses only environmentally friendly, VOC compliant finishes. Our high solids, high build finishes are machine applied and quick cured through various methods including chemical reaction and energy based methods. The result is an even coat along the entire length of the product. The finishes have an added UV absorber to prolong the life of the finish and resist ambering, or “yellowing” of the product from age. The resulting product will last for years to come.
