Mohawk Names Duncan and Matthaidess to Marketing V

Dalton, GA, August 16, 2006--David Duncan has been promoted to vice president of marketing for Mohawk Residential, according to Tom Lape, president of Mohawk Residential Flooring. The company has also named Brad Matthaidess to the post of senior vice president, Mohawk Aligned and Builder Programs for the Mohawk Residential Business, a newly created position. Duncan takes over the position from Ed Williams, who announced his retirement. He will oversee general marketing, advertising, merchandising and training for all segments of Mohawk’s Residential Strategic Business Unit. Mike Zoellner, vice president Marketing Services, and Steve Nosek, director Advertising and Merchandising and their teams, will report to Duncan. Mohawk also named Brad Matthaidess to the post of senior vice president, Mohawk Aligned and Builder Programs for the Mohawk Residential Business, a newly created position. In his new responsibility, Matthaidess will handle overall managerial responsibility for all Mohawk Aligned dealer programs such as Mohawk Floorscapes, Mohawk ColorCenter, and Mohawk Floorz, as well as overall responsibilities for the Builder and Multi-Family sales channel efforts. Previously, Matthaidess was regional vice president for Mohawk Residential Flooring’s Southeast and Southwest regions. Manny Llerena, vice president Retail Marketing, and Bill Kennedy, national director of Builder Programs and their teams, will report to Matthaidess.
