Domotex Middle East Sells Out

Dubai, United Arab Emirates, May 15, 2006--Domotex, Middle East, the specialist carpets and flooring trade show due to debut in Dubai this May, has sold out within just months of its launch. And organizers Deutsche Messe AG Hannover have contracted a fourth hall at the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC) to cater to huge international and regional demand for space. 'This has been a tremendous result and a great start for Deutsche Messe in the Middle East,' said Susanne Klaproth, director, Domotex. 'The show will now take up some 14,000 square metres of gross space and has immediately established itself as one of the fastest-selling trade events in the region.' Domotex Middle East will run at the DWTC from May 28-30. The brand is one of the biggest names in the trade show industry with two well-established annual events in Hannover and Shanghai. Some of the biggest names in the carpets and flooring industry are featured in the exhibitor profile, including Belgium's Balta Industries NV, Miri Iranian Knots of Iran, Al Hayat Carpet Factory Co LLC, and Sorayai Carpet Factory of Saudi Arabia and Hassan Maktabi & Sons of Lebanon. The show will also feature national pavilions from the Netherlands, Croatia and the Benelux. Domotex Middle East is being held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed al Maktoum, president, Department of Civil Aviation, Government of Dubai and chairman of the Emirates Group. The show has the official support of the UAE Contractors Association.
