CRI Meets ANSI Requirements for Eligibility

Dalton, GA, January 31, 2007--The Carpet & Rug Institute, (CRI) recently received word from the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) that it had met the eligibility requirements set forth by the institute as a third party certification program and therefore is eligible to apply for accreditation. This is a major step for CRI which has been moving in this direction for a lengthy period of time and is an excellent start in realizing the VOC Issues Management team strategy to bring national creditability to the CRI Green Label Program.
