Congoleum Won't Fight AMEX Delisting
Mercerville, NY, February 8, 2008--Congoleum Corporation said that it has received notice from the American Stock Exchange is moving to delist the company from the exchange.
Among the reasons are the company's low share price, as low as 5 cents per share, and its market capitalization has gone too low.
Trading on the Amex is expected to be suspended February 19 and the delisting of Congoleum's common stock will be effective 10 days after Amex files with the SEC. Congoleum said it won't appeal the decision, noting that the shares can be list on the over the counter market.
Congoleum Corporation filed for bankruptcy on December 31, 2003.
