Cersaie Hosts Numerous Speakers at 35th Edition of Event

Bologna, IT, September 27, 2017-The 35th Cersaie, International Exhibition of Ceramic Tile and Bathroom Furnishings, opened Monday in the Bologna exhibition center.

Following the ribbon-cutting ceremony, the exhibition’s program officially kicked off in the Europauditorium, Palazzo dei Congressi, with the economic conference entitled “Sustainability and Competitiveness of European Manufacturing in an International Context.”

The conference was organized by Confindustria Ceramica and moderated by Sky TG24 journalist Maria Latella and saw the participation of the Italian Minister of the Environment Gian Luca Galletti, chairman of Confindustria Vincenzo Boccia and chairman of Confindustria Ceramica Vittorio Borelli.

The opening remarks were given by the president of the Emilia-Romagna regional government Stefano Bonaccini, who noted the positive performance of the region’s main economic indicators. Additional speakers included Confindustria Ceramica chairman Vittorio Borelli and environment minister Gian Luca Galletti.
