Binder Appointed New Marketing VP at Flooring Amer
Manchester, NH, May 29--Deb Binder has joined Flooring America as its vice president of marketing, announced Evan Hackel, president. "Deb's extensive experience in the retail flooring industry, combined with her excellent track record in devising and implementing branding strategies, has made her an immediate asset for our corporate team," said Hackel. "She has already demonstrated the initiative and focus that account for her past successes, particularly in her previous association with CCA Global Partners, our parent corporation." Binder joins Flooring America with more than 15 years of retail marketing experience. Binder's main responsibilities at Flooring America include defining, establishing, and growing the Flooring America brand and developing and driving integrated marketing plans to support the brand. Previously, Binder was Director of Marketing for The Timberland Company's Consumer Direct Division. Binder was responsible for developing and overseeing all strategic retail marketing for the division's specialty and outlet stores and its e-commerce website. Binder also led the Creative Services team at Comcast (formerly AT&T Broadband) from 1998 to 2000, directing marketing programs and visual communications for all product lines. From 1989 to 1998, Binder was the Director of Marketing and Advertising at Carpet One, a division of CCA Global Partners. She was the second employee hired at the company's Manchester office. Her primary responsibilities were to develop marketing plans and promotional advertising to generate and maintain sales and consumer awareness.
