Bentley Prince Street is Urban-continued

Additional products featured at NeoCon include Crawford and Wayland, two new additions to the very popular Robert Stern Collection--both available in 12 colorways. The Wayland pattern resembles a Greek key while Crawford features a broken grid patterning. Crawford is also available in 18” X 18” tile. These products are piecedyed and tufted tip-sheared. Bentley Prince Street is reintroducing its classic Architecture style with 45 new colorways that coordinate with Urban Scene and New Town. This timeless solid loop remains a staple in the Bentley Prince Street line. Sophisticated Showroom Also making its debut at NeoCon 2006 is Bentley Prince Street’s new, permanent showroom in the Merchandise Mart. The company previously operated a large showroom at 440 North Wells, with temporary space at the Merchandise Mart during NeoCon each year. According to Russ Ramage, creative director for Bentley Prince Street, the new showroom in the Merchandise Mart is like the quintessential urban sophisticate: dressed in the perfect spectrum of muted solid neutral tones, with a scintilla of pattern that gives the perfect trace of flare. “The showroom has an overall feel of a fashion designer’s elegant atelier that is tucked away in a courtyard apartment building in either Paris or Milan. Design elements are repeated through the long space, which is comprised of three principal chambers arranged in an enfilade,” explained Ramage. “Two French-style sofas and a Jean-Michel Frank-inspired glass cocktail table create the main seating area. The pattern of the custom fabric that covers the sofas is repeated on the shopping bag and other elements. A Giacometti-inspired lighting fixture completes the main showroom area.” Bentley Prince Street’s showroom will also feature a Zoom Room--a computer visualization tool that projects virtual full-scale products into a virtual life-sized impression of the room environment. With Zoom Room, customers will be able to instantly and digitally “install” any Bentley Prince Street product into a variety of room settings. Custom designed Mission Zero fabric, manufactured by Interfacefabric, appropriately wraps the walls at the conjunction of the InterfaceFlor Commercial and Bentley Prince Street spaces. “We are very excited to make the Merchandise Mart our permanent home in Chicago,” said Minite. “With our complete sample library and all of our merchandising in one place, we are better positioned to serve our customers during NeoCon as well as throughout the year.”
