Aussie Beech Flooring Offers Unique Color

Sydney, Australia, October 21--A combination of highland colors has been selected to create a unique color in hardwood flooring available from Boreal Timbers. Called Australian Beech, it belongs in the blonde color palette of Boral timbers and ranges from pale brown and golden hues to a light cream with a slightly pink tint, according to Infolink.com. The tonal variations found in Australian Beech solid hardwood timber flooring are a sought after feature. The backsawn timbers are kiln dried and subtly blended to make the most of natural colour variations blended ito one floor. "Aussie Beech is hard wearing which means the flooring will last very well in virtually any suitable application and lead to increases in asset value that exceed the initial cost of the floor," says Malcolm Johnston, Boral Timber’s national product manager. "This, combined with Boral Timber’s reputation as the oldest producer of hardwood flooring in Australia, makes Australian Beech an excellent choice for builders and floor layers who are looking to install a top quality hardwood floor." With a natural resilience to dents, scratching and scarring, Australian Beech is designed to last and will age beautifully. It has a hardness or janka rating of 7.5. Boral supplies Aussie Beech in Uni-Naill tongue and groove strip flooring as well as George Hudson Block and Mosaic Parquetry. It is available in three Boral grades: Classic, Australiana and Natural.
