Americhem Boosts UK Production of Turf Chemicals

Cuyahoga Falls, OH, July 27, 2011 -- Americhem Inc., a manufacturer of custom color and additive solutions for synthetic fibers, said it has added a new production line at its Manchester, United Kingdom plant.

The line is anticipated to add annually more than two kilotons of color and additive masterbatch capacity to the site.

The new line has been added to manufacture customized masterbatches for synthetic turf applications.

The new production line will be supplemented later this year when Americhem begins operating a synthetic turf yarn pilot line in Dalton, Georgia.
