Americhem Adds Synthetic Turf Pilot Line

Cuyahoga Falls, OH, Nov. 1, 2011 -- Americhem, a global supplier of custom color and additive solutions for synthetic fibers, said it has recently added a synthetic turf filament pilot line to its product development laboratories in Dalton, Georgia.

The new line is modular, which allows for the production of a variety of turf filaments. The line can be set up to replicate numerous customer manufacturing processes.

This lab-scale capacity will speed color matching and benefit customers by confirming color checks for quality purposes, Americhem said.

It will also allow for expanded raw material testing including color palettes, stabilizers and additives.
