Washington, DC, July 17, 2019-Privately-owned housing starts in June were at a seasonally adjusted annual rate of 1,253,000, according to the U.S. Census Bureau. This is 0.9% below the revised May estimate of 1,265,000, but is 6.2% above the June 2018 rate of 1,180,000.
