September Retail Sales Rose 1.6% from August, 4.4% YOY
Washington, DC, October 13, 2017—Advance estimates of U.S. retail and food services sales for September 2017 were $483.9 billion, an increase of 1.6% from the previous month, and 4.4% above September 2016, according to the U.S. Census Bureau.
Distrib. Trade Sales & Manufacturers’ Shipments Up 0.7% in Aug.
Washington, DC, October 13, 2017—The combined value of distributive trade sales and manufacturers’ shipments for August was estimated at $1,369.2 billion, up 0.7% from July 2017 and was up 5.5% from August 2016, according to the U.S. Census Bureau.
