Washington, DC, November 15, 2017—The combined value of distributive trade sales and manufacturers’ shipments for September was estimated at $1,389.7 billion, up 1.4% from August 2017 and was up 6.4% from September 2016.
AdvanSix Raises Prices on Caprolactam and Nylon 6

Consumer Prices Inched Up in October
Washington, DC, November 15, 2017—The Consumer Price Index for All Urban Consumers rose 0.1% in October on a seasonally adjusted basis, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics reported. Over the last 12 months, the all items index rose 2.0%.
Retail Sales Rose 0.2% in October
Washington, DC, November 15, 2017—Advance estimates of U.S. retail and food services sales for October 2017 were $486.6 billion, an increase of 0.2% from the previous month, and 4.6% above October 2016, according to the U.S. Census Bureau.
