Shaw Floors Used in Southern Living Idea Homes

Dalton, GA, Sept. 18, 2009--Shaw floors were selected for both 2009 Southern Living idea houses this summer.

One home, in Dahlonega, Ga., featured Shaw carpet, hardwood, and tile and stone- and also featured Shaw hardwood on the walls of the retreat area.
 
The second house, on Mustang Island in Texas, features Shaw’s Anso nylon carpet.
 
“Shaw participates in projects like the Southern Living ideas houses in order to reach our targeted consumer in an inspirational and unique setting,” said Reggie Newton, vice president of marketing.

“Thousands of consumers tour the Southern Living show homes for ideas and product recommendations, and we receive a very large volume of calls about the products featured in the homes. The idea houses allow Shaw to deliver educated, ready-to-purchase consumers to Shaw retailers.”
