NFA Appoints Leadership for 2019 & 2020

Napa, CA, November 5, 2018-National Flooring Alliance (NFA) members met for their fall meeting in Napa, California and elected new leadership.

The term for the newly elected group starts in January and runs for two years.

The appointees are as follows: president-elect-Jason McSwain, McSwain Carpets and Floors, Cincinnati, Ohio; vice president-Ian Newton, Flooring 101, Oxnard, California; secretary-Raffi Sarmazian, Sarmazian Brothers Flooring, Ontario Canada; and treasurer-Eric Mondragon, RC Willey, Salt Lake City, Utah.

Business is good for the membership. A few members reported being down to flat, but most have seen growth in 2018 that ranges between 3% and 9%.

Created in 1991, the NFA is an elite group of carpet and flooring dealers, with individual sales of over $10 million, selected via a group consensus. Unlike other flooring buying groups, the NFA is run and managed by its membership using a commitee structure. It has 43 member companies currently.

The meeting runs from November 4 to 7.
