Shaw Rolling Out Web Tools Package for Retailers

Dalton, GA, June 25, 2010--Shaw Floors said it will introduce on July 1 the Shaw Web Studio, a suite of web products for flooring retailers.

Shaw Web Studio will allow Shaw retailers to create new websites or add Shaw product catalogs and other premium content to existing websites.

According to Misty Hodge, Shaw’s web services manager, retailers recognize the power of the web but have difficulty with time, cost and technology expertise.

The suite includes customized web sites, automatically updated product catalogs, microsites within existing sites, automated delivery of product images and data and much more. Shaw says the tools are easy-to-use, easy-to-maintain and affordable.

“Research indicates that almost 70 percent of consumers shop online before entering the store. Shaw Web Studio allows Shaw’s retailers to become a virtual storefront that is always open,” said Hodge.

“Shaw Web Studio offers a selection of the industry’s leading technological tools in order to generate qualified sales leads for a retailer’s store.”
