World of Tile Purchased by Colorado Investors

Denver, CO, Feb. 24, 2009--Englewood, Colo. based World of Tile was sold Monday to a local group of investors, said Sean Kearns, president and chief executive of the company.

Management and executives at the company will remain the same, he said. Terms of the deal and annual sales were not released by the privately held company.

World of Tile operates 15 stores, mostly in Colorado and Arizona. The company recently shuttered two stores in Texas and might close one more but does not plan to close or change stores in Denver and Phoenix.
