Private Sector Employment Rose by 192,000 Jobs in April

Roseland, NJ, May 1, 2024-Private sector employment increased by 192,000 jobs in April, and annual pay was up 5.0% year-over-year, according to the April ADP National Employment Report produced by the ADP Research Institute in collaboration with the Stanford Digital Economy Lab.

The goods-producing sector added 47,000 jobs, while the service-providing sector added 145,000.

Small businesses added 38,000 jobs, medium businesses added 62,000 jobs, and large businesses added 98,000 jobs.
