Private Sector Employment Ros by 278,000 in May

 Roseland, NJ, June 1, 2023-Private sector employment increased by 278,000 jobs in May and annual pay was up 6.5% year-over-year, according to the May ADP National Employment Report produced by the ADP Research Institute in collaboration with the Stanford Digital Economy Lab.

The goods-producing sector added 110,000 jobs, while the service-providing sector added 168,000.

Small business employment rose by 235,000 jobs, medium businesses by 140,000 jobs, and large businesses lost 106,000 jobs.
