Pharr Yarns President Dennis Doran Dies

Milford, DE, March 7, 2012 — William Dennis Doran, president of Pharr Yarns, died March 4 at the age of 67.

He began his career in fibers working for E. I. Du Pont at the Camden, South Carolina Plant.  He was transferred to New York and then Wynnewood , Pa., Chattanooga, Tennessee, and then to Wilmington, Delaware.

In 1979 Dennis began working for Pharr Yarns in New York and had been associated with them ever since. He served as a member of the American Arbitration Association and the Yarn Spinners Association.
