Pervan Family Buys Out Valinge Co-Investor

Viken, Sweden, April 29, 2011 -- Välinge Invest AB, owned by the Perván family, is acquiring all shares of Välinge Flooring Technology owned by Nordstjernan Investment AB and will own the entire company.

Valinge said that the parties have agreed to settle all disputes.

"Nordstjernan's investment has generated a high return, "  says Tomas Billing, CEO of Nordstjernan.

Nordstjernan has been a shareholder in Välinge for eight years.

Valinge Flooring Technology owns 60% of Välinge.

"We are increasing our shareholding in order to streamline decision-making, to strengthen our long-term investment in new technologies and to diversify into other areas”, says Darko Perván, CEO of Välinge.

Valinge also said it is developing a new long term strategy.

Välinge International AB, which owns all subsidiaries in the Välinge group, will handle all strategic decisions. The board will consist of 10 members. Perván Holding AB/Välinge Invest AB (owned by the Perván family) will appoint six members.

Darko Perván continues as CEO of Välinge and chairman of the board.

The Välinge group is now a subsidiary of Pervan Holding AB, which is 100% owned by the Perván family.

“The first major issue for the board will be to establish a new long term strategy for 5G and powder technology," Pervan says.
