Mullican Announces Multi-Layered Flooring Venture, Names Director

Johnson City, TN, November 7, 2018–Mullican Flooring has announced the appointment of industry veteran, Art Layton, to director of specialty products at the company’s Johnson City, Tennessee headquarters.

Layton will oversee Axiscor Performance Flooring, a new brand of Stone Polymer Composite-based multi-layered flooring that will be available to distributors in early 2019.

Most recently as VP of marketing and resilient business with CMH-Space Flooring, Layton’s experience involves working with independent distributors to develop their import businesses and private brands.
