Mohawk Investing $10 Million in Glasgow, VA Carpet Tile Plant

Glasgow, VA, January 9, 2018-Mohawk will expand its Glasgow, Virginia carpet tile plant with a new extrusion compounding line.

The $10 million expansion is expected to create 15 new jobs. 

This facility produces 95% of Mohawk’s carpet tiles. It was acquired in 2003 and prior to that was Burlington Industries Lee’s carpet facility. The plant was built in 1935 to produce woven wool carpet but was converted into a carpet tile facility by Burlington Mills.
