Mannington Mills Announces Another $50-million LVT Expansion

Salem, NJ – October 30, 2014 – During a ribbon cutting to celebrate the opening of its expanded manufacturing facility in Madison, Ga., Mannington Mills announced plans for an additional $50-million expansion.

Mannington said that it has purchased 62 acres of nearby land and will construct a 550,000-square-foot facility for additional manufacturing and distribution. CEO Russell Grizzle described the next expansion project as “the largest in Mannington’s history.”

The newly opened expansion doubled the facility’s square footage, quadrupled its capacity and is expected to create 219 new jobs by early 2015, the company said. At the completion of the second expansion, the company estimates that its workforce in the Madison area will increase by over 300% in five years.

Georgia Gov. Nathan Deal praised the announcement: “Flooring companies such as Mannington Mills are a driving force behind our state’s economy.”
