IVC's Dalton Plant Grand Opening Today

Dalton, GA, May 16, 2011--The International Vinyl Company (IVC) holds its grand opening event for its new IVC U.S. headquarters today in Dalton, Georgia. Production at the new facility began in March.

The 520,000 square foot headquarters includes both manufacturing and distribution facilities.

The new plant more than doubles the size of the present IVC U.S. Dalton location.

The new facility represents a $75 million investment. It annual output is about 5,000 miles of glass backed sheet vinyl.

The expansion will necessitate that IVC U.S. add over 100 employees to its ranks, bringing total local employment to over 150.

“This is a key strategic decision for us,” said Filip Balcaen, chairman of IVC Group. “It is a clear signal of our long term commitment to the U.S. market and our desire for continued industry leadership.”

IVC is a Belgium based company that was founded in 1997.
