Irv Pomerantz of Galaxy Has Died

Arlington Heights, IL, December 20, 2018-Irwin ”Irv” Pomerantz, 92, who ran the sales force for Galaxy Carpet, has died. 

A service will be held December 21 at 10:00 a.m. at the Shalom Memorial Funeral Home in Arlington Heights, Illinois. 

He is survived by three children and eight grandchildren and three greatgrandchildren.

Irv Harvey worked as director of marketing at Texas-based Evans and Black. When he was tapped to take over as CEO of Galaxy, he hired his Evans and Black associate, Irv Pomerantz, to direct the sales force.
