Initial Jobless Claims Declined by 1,000 in Week Ending March 18

Washington, DC, March 23, 2023– In the week ending March 18, the advance figure for seasonally adjusted initial claims was 191,000, a decrease of 1,000 from the previous week’s unrevised level of 192,000, reports the Department of Labor. 

The our-week moving average was 196,250, a decrease of 250 from the previous week’s unrevised average of 196,500.
