Godfrey Hirst Up for Sale, Reports Australian Financial Review

Melbourne, Australia, February 21, 2017—Australian carpet maker Godfrey Hirst is up for sale, according to Australian Financial Review.

“Investment bank Greenhill is in the market seeking a buyer for the country's largest manufacturer of woollen carpets, Godfrey Hirst,” the publication reports.

Australian Financial Review notes that Godfrey Hirst is the largest spinner of wool carpet in the southern hemisphere with $427.8 million in annual revenue last year.

Godfrey Hirst is majority owned by the McKendrick family.
