Emerald Names Shoemaker Rauen & Robinson to Leadership Roles

New York, NY, September 30, 2019-Emerald Expositions has named Stacy Shoemaker Rauen and Phil Robinson to senior leadership positions for its International Contemporary Furniture Fair (ICFF). 

Robinson rejoins ICFF, which he previously managed from 1994 to 2012, as show director. Shoemaker Rauen was promoted to senior vice president for the Design Group portfolio at Emerald Expositions, which includes ICFF, Contract, Hospitality Design, Boutique Design, Healthcare Design and Environments for the Aging.

For the past 17 years, Shoemaker Rauen has been an integral part of the Hospitality Design Group, which includes Hospitality Design magazine, HD Expo, and a collection of networking and awards events. Most notably, she is the editor in chief of HD, the publication for the industry, and is founder of HD’s CitySCENE and NextGen Forum events. Now as senior vice president of Emerald’s Design Group, she oversees the Hospitality Design Group, the Boutique Design Group, Healthcare Design, Environments for Aging, ICFF and Contract magazine. 

Robinson joins Emerald from Hospitality Media Group where, for seven years, he oversaw an event portfolio that included three trade shows: Boutique Design New York (BDNY), Boutique Design West (BDwest) and HX: The Hotel Experience. Prior to HMG, Robinson spent 23 years at George Little Management (GLM). As a former Partner and Senior Vice President at GLM, Robinson managed and developed shows in multiple sectors, including hospitality, contemporary furniture, giftware and social stationery, and art and design industries.
